Mix Of The Year 2013 - VOTE NOW CLOSED

It's been 12 months since we compiled our last Mix Of The Year shortlist, so here we are with a brand new set . . . and this time we need your help to vote for your favourite!

VOTING NOW CLOSED - Click here to see who won!

There have been so many awesome free mixes shared this year that getting it down to our favourite 10 was next to impossible. In fact it was impossible, which is why we could only get the list down to 12! Massive respect to the likes of Krafty Kuts, A.Skillz, Deekline, REL1 and loads of others who (despite giving us looaaads of monster mixes) don't make our final shortlist this year - and if those guys couldn't make the final list then that goes to show what a special selection we've got for you right here!!

> LISTEN to the mixes below
> DOWNLOAD your favourites (they're all FREE to download!)
> VOTE for the ONE mix that you think should take the title of Funk and Filth's Mix Of The Year 2013

The voting options are on the right-hand side of this page (not visible when viewing on mobile phones), all you have to do is click next to the mix that you think is the best, then click VOTE!
You can also leave us a Facebook comment here, or Tweet us using the hashtag #FunkAndFilth.

We'll include your votes along with our internal voting at Funk and Filth HQ when we decide on the winner!

What a year for Stanton Warriors! So many quality mixes to choose from for these guys, but it's their August boat party set that makes the cut. This is the shit!

Ed Solo is another one of the big boys to deliver a set so damn good that we just had to include it here!

From the first time we heard it this bouncy, dirty, rolling mix from DJ Lady Bex it was always going to be in the final shortlist!

The last year has seen Exclusive Funk and Filth mixes from some serious beat-botherers! [Check them all out here]. We couldn't include all of our own exclusive mixes [much as we'd like to!], but the monstrous mix delivered by Dylan Sanders is just so damn naughty that it had to make the list!

Warning: Severe filth incoming! This mix from Sanxion contains some tracks so nasty that they incited sporadic outbreaks of tourettes around Funk and Filth HQ! Some quality, rave-inducing breaks!

After the aural annihilation just delivered by Sanxion we thought we had better include something to bring you back down to earth, and encourage granny to come out from under the bed! Of all the more chilled mixes we heard this year, this offering from Neon Steve is the cream of the crop! Still plenty of bass to be found, but a much needed softer vibe for those mornings after a messy night!

Datadex DJs know how to deliver a top notch, energy-packed breaks mix: fact. They've had some impressive highlights this year, including an exclusive free track for Funk and Filth, but their guest mix for Lady Waks back in July is the jewel in their mixtape crown. Textbook stuff!

The 1s and 2s at Shambhala 2013 have spawned some of the best mixes of the year, as you'd expect! It seems as though everyone who graced the decks there was on fire, but the best of the bunch was definitely this delicious set from J-Roc. This is the Funk and Filth sound at it's peak people!

Not to be outdone by our brothers on the other side of the pond, the Brit boys are demonstrating that they can match the likes of J-Roc set-to-set when it comes to funky, filthy beat blending! The turntable tag-team of B-Side and Detta punching out ghetto funk sounds and big-ass basslines relentlessly in this epic, epic mix!

And now a piece of history for you! The first set ever played at an official Funk and Filth night! Doctor Hooka opened proceedings for us back in August with a set that threw down the gauntlet for all those to follow! Damn fine basslines flying at you right, left and centre in this legendary mix!

Joining fellow Aussie Dylan Sanders on the shortlist are Beatslappaz! If you (or anyone you know) are having difficulty shaking your asses, then these are the guys to help you out! I'm not sure the awesomeness of this mix can really be described in any other words, just listen to it for yourself!

Completing our dastardly dozen is this bouncy beauty from Kwerk. Gumshields in, elbow pads on people. Its a face-chewing elbow-swinger and it's bloody beautiful!

Like Funk and Filth on Facebook for more exclusive free downloads.

And that's it! That's the whole list! Yes, there were loads of other awesome mixes out there in the last 12 months (most of them will have been featured here on Funk and Filth at some point!), but we had to boil it down to our favourite dozen, and here they are for you to listen to, download for free and vote for your favourite!

You'll find the voting buttons on the right hand side of this page (not visible when viewing on mobile), and you can also leave a Facebook comment on this page, or Tweet us using the hashtag #FunkAndFilth.

Hope you enjoy all the mixes and massive thanks to all the DJs and Producers for another year of sumptuous beats!
