Funk #24 - Life Support Machine
The Life Support Machine guys have been bass music entrepreneurs for some time now and, not only do they fight for the same cause that we champion here at Funk and Filth, by serving up the very best bass music that the web has to offer, but these guys also release their own tracks, remixes, mixtapes and put on some truly epic nights out. Hats off to the LSM guys!
Most notably amongst their musical menagerie are LSM head honcho Mr No Hands, and the truly awesome Fifties. Check out some of their production, remix and mixing work below and make sure to subscribe to their five star blog over at www.lifesupportmachine.co.uk for more tasty basslines!
We caught up with Monsieur No Hands and grabbed a few words of wisdom from the LSM daddy . . .
"It's been a pleasure and an honour to work on LSM. The site has received amazing support from artists such as T. Power, the Plumps, Myagi, Mafia Kiss, Kid Kenobi, Freerange DJs not to mention the wonderful folks here at Funk and Filth too. We're super grateful for that and to all our writers who have contributed and over the years.
We've acquired a superb international team of writers who give so much of their free time to support the artists they love for no other reason than they want to help share the music they love. That’s 100 good karma points right there!
As for the future, we're working hard behind the scenes to build a brand new LSM with some really cool new features. We’re also about to acquire a podcast manager, so you can expect regular exclusive ‘m1xtapes’ from the world’s most bad-ass DJs.
The doors are always open for people to get involved. Drop us a line and say hi."
More garms in the Funk and Filth Shop.
